KS3 · KS4 · TT1 · TT2 · 1990 to 2001 (eligible builds)
The four-cylinder kei truck with independent suspension all round. The smoothest ride, and our first pick.
Kojo JDM imports the Subaru Sambar truck, the kei truck with a four-cylinder engine and four-wheel independent suspension. The 1990 to 1999 KS3 and KS4 and the TT1 and TT2 that followed in 1999 put the engine at the rear, under the bed.
That layout makes the Sambar the smoothest and quietest kei truck on rough ground. Subaru built its own Sambar until 2012; TT2 4WD trucks qualify as each one turns 25 by build month.

25-year eligibility
KS3 and KS4 eligible. TT1 and TT2 builds qualify on their own 25-year date: 1999 to 2001 builds through 2026, 2002 builds during 2027.
